Since 1957, music lovers the world over have asked, “Whatever Happened to Peggy Sue?” In her memoirs, Peggy Sue tells about the relationships and events that plunged her into the public eye and changed her life forever. Peggy Sue has based her book on personal diary and journal entries kept since she was eighteen.
I have heard the song “Peggy Sue” hundreds of times during my life but I never knew who she was. In late 2012 I had the pleasure of meeting Peggy Sue and I have to say it was love at first sight! The first thing I did was ask her if she would take a picture with me. Peggy Sue looked at me and smiled and said “well of course”.
I have been a professional photographer for years and as I got to know Peggy Sue on a more personal level I asked her if she wouldn’t mind being in a fashion photo shoot. Peggy Sue has been involved in many photo shoots but it was an honor to have the opportunity to photograph one of Lubbock’s most iconic females.
Below is the first in a series of portraits from the photo shoot featuring Peggy Sue that is being released. These portraits are only going to be produced in limited quantity, each personally signed by Peggy Sue.
The portraits come in three different sizes, mounted or un-mounted. Each portrait is printed on high quality luster paper and personally signed by Peggy Sue.
